  1. Billing

    One Pro plan unlocks every tool

    NFL MCP now has two plans: Free at 50 requests per day and Pro at 1,500. Pro includes every tool, including advanced analytics, schema inspection, bounded SQL, and referee context; existing paid customers keep their billing terms.

    Fantasy-first plans and v0.4 tool contract

    Free includes core player and team stats, schedules, rosters, injuries, snap counts, comparisons, and play search. Pro includes every analytics and developer tool; generated tool docs reflect the tier and schema contract.

    Man vs zone coverage splits (Pro)

    Pro users get nfl_coverage_splits: how a QB or receiver performs against man coverage vs zone — EPA, success rate, completion/catch rate, CPOE, air yards, and TDs, split side-by-side. Coverage charting covers 2016 onward.

    Pressure analysis (Pro)

    Pro users get the nfl_pressure tool: per-QB pressure rate, time to throw, sack rate, and EPA split by pressured vs clean pocket — plus a defense mode for team pass-rush pressure, blitz rate, and EPA allowed. Ask for a single player or team, or a leaderboard. Pressure charting covers 2016 onward.

    NFL MCP is now published in the official Model Context Protocol Registry, so MCP clients and directories can discover and connect to it.

    One-click install for Cursor and VS Code

    Add NFL MCP to Cursor or VS Code in a single click from the install panel — no config file editing. Sign in through the browser to finish.

    A new status page shows the live health of the MCP server and the last time its data was refreshed.

    New docs with an auto-generated Tool Reference — every tool with its parameters, minimum tier, data-coverage window, and a real example request and response — plus Authentication, Rate limits, and Error format reference pages, a left-hand nav, and an on-page table of contents.

    OAuth 2.1 installation

    OAuth 2.1 is now the recommended way to connect supported clients — sign in through the browser with no API key to copy or store. The Claude Desktop bundle connects over OAuth.

    The MCP server is served at its canonical endpoint, mcp.nflmcp.com/mcp, used in every installation example.

    Paid plans launched. Pro unlocks fantasy and advanced analysis at 1,000 requests/day; Edge adds betting-angle and raw-query tools at 5,000 requests/day, with monthly, yearly, and season-pass options.
